Never Told Me

I am an eighty-year-old mother of four, grandmother of eight, and great-grandmother of four, with another on the way.

My story blends fiction with truth, written from a love of storytelling and a desire to share an important message. At its heart, this story is about how love- love of God, family, and friends- gives meaning to our lives and helps us endure.

I dedicate this book to my family, friends, and church family, who have supported me every step of the way.  I thank my family, especially my granddaughter Shay, for encouraging me to keep writing when I wanted to stop.  I also thank Ms. Stephanie Stovall, who helped me turn my manuscript into the pages of this book.  I thank God for her assistance.  It has been a challenge, but I did not give up.  Thank you all.
